COVID-19 UPDATE

SYB has always been about healthy travel; we workout, we eat local, and take care of one another. However, health dynamics are changing and improving in a new way this year.

  • SAFETY-  This is now how we will be operating - expect masks, extra attention and new improved procedures that emphasize cleanliness, regular temp checks, and more.
  • COVID TEST PRIOR TO TRIP - We require every guest to either be vaccinated or present a negative Covid-19 test that has been taken 72 hours before arrival. Very simple - no test, no trip. *subject to change
  • TEMP CHECKS - Every guest will have their temp checked in the AM before any shenanigans begin. A healthy temp means a healthy day.
  • COVID WAIVER - Before arriving at the destination, all guests are required to sign a safety waiver. This helps us protect all parties involved.
  • BUBBLE LIFE - Our trips are well known for the opportunity you have to form close friendships and tight knit communities. We can ensure that all SYB traditions and feel good moments will prevail in the safest way possible within our bubble.
  • ACCOMMODATION  - Our accommodation partners are already going the extra mile with, cleanliness, PPE, you know the drill - we are also focusing on adding more private room options on all our trips.

CANCELLATION - COVID

WE'RE SAYING LOUD AND CLEAR: IF YOU CANNOT TRAVEL BECAUSE OF COVID WE WILL ISSUE A FULL REFUND OF YOUR TRIP.

But please note, we're a small business, every time we do a refund there are percentage fees we take a hit on...

CANCELLATION - GENERAL

First of all, we’re calling bull on that work event that “just happened” to pop up. But we’ll get over it and see you on the next trip. While back in the day deposits were non-transferable or refundable this is the new wave of travel and we're here to go all out for our people (that's you!).

For any reason you cannot go we offer trip credit of whatever you've paid towards any trip in the coming future. This only applies if you tell us at least 28 days prior. We do pay all the vendors and staff long before we arrive. Fun Fact: Did you know 10% of global GDP is travel, thats a lot of people feeding their families in this industry.

Now... what we can’t help you out with? The FOMO that’ll come from watching the adventure on Instagram stories from home. Check out the Terms and Conditions and About pages for more info.

Do I need to be a fitness babe or muscle man to come on these trips?

No way! Not every human being walks around looking like Gigi Hadid- we feel that. All different levels are welcome- even if the only time you’ve ever broken a sweat is hustling to the fridge during commercial breaks. Coming to all workouts is highly encouraged but not mandatory and we make adjustments for various fitness levels and injuries. The point is to try something new and make memories that you’ll never forget. Check out some BLOG POSTS to hear from other non-Schwarzeneggers about their experience.

What happens after I book?

We won’t leave you hanging after you drop dat coin. We’ll email several times along the way: first after you book, second about a month and a half before the trip, and third two weeks before. Then we’ll make sure you know where to be and when. Unlike that dude from last night, we’ll be hitting you up.

You also have access to all your payment profile information on our booking partners: www.myeasol.com

How much moola should I bring on these trips?

Our adventures could go up to 8 days, which means you should bring at least $400 USD, unless maybe you’re feeling extra generous at the bar. Most meals are covered, but sometimes we’ll dine out and it’s a good idea to have some cha-ching. Credit cards are usually accepted but if not, we’ll let you know beforehand. But for now, get on bringin home that bread.

What’s up with theft?

Be safe and you won’t be sorry. We usually choose destinations with low crime rates but it is always wise to stay vigilant. General rule of thumb: if losing X valuable is going to ruin your trip, don’t  bring it! (So keep your Yeezys and nice jewelry at home.)

Petty theft is the most common type of crime that exists, so be wary of pickpockets looking for cash and always watch your bags. As a precautionary measure we typically provide safes in each room. We’ve yet to experience any considerable theft on our trips (let’s keep it that way).

Challenges? Oh this sounds fun

On every trip we do fun challenges to get you to step away from your comfort zone and explore a new you.

1. Caveman or Cavewoman Challenge: we’ll try to not use products such as soap, shampoos, hair gels, sprays, deodorant, or perfumes. We’ll use the natural cleansing powers of mother nature: oceans, rivers, and lakes. We’ll use the sands and salts to purify and embrace the smell of who we really are, not who Calvin Klein is.  COVID update, please wash your hands no excuses...

1. Most Sunburnt - Yep, for those that love the sun a little too much. They always end up coming back home a few shades darker...

1. Most Injured - Please, this is never an award we love to encourage.

Does everyone booze?

We're all about letting loose and not taking life too seriously, we respect choice and there's no pressure to drink if you don't want to.

What's the most adventurous trip?

Take your digital detox to the next level and join us in the Philippines, get ready to step outside of your comfort zone.

What's the most relaxing trip?

This will probably be Italy. Nothing rejuvenates the soul like washing down plates of fresh pasta with local limoncello and floating in the clear waters of Capri.

What's the most fitness intense trip?

For sure Iceland. Between running all day we’ll hydrate with shots (joking... or are we?). Workout, run, dried fish, run, geothermal pools, run. You’ll come home stronger, fishier and with super toned legs.

What's the most popular trip?

Playa Maderas, Nicaragua! This is our OG trip, we've done this more times than we can remember... If you want the full SYB experience this is it.

Going Alone?

DO IT. In fact, we recommend you sign up alone (most people do). It's a scary thing but it's the best way to be who you want to be and have no attachments to your life at home (job/friends/whatever). Within 30 seconds of arriving, you will feel so warm and welcomed into the SYB community. Arrival days are always planned to have a big group dinner with icebreakers, fun themes, dance parties and of course, some liquid courage (lol). On our most recent trip, we asked all guests to arrive at the airport in Hawaiian shirts and we 'leid' them right then and there. Any pre-trip jitters were immediately gone. If this is something holding you back, we would love to set up a call between you and one of our leaders to share more info.
